Pelicans to defer Lakers’ 1st-round draft pick from Anthony Davis trade until 2025

New Orleans had the choice to use or defer the pick for one year. It is the last of the three first-round picks the Lakers gave the Pelicans in the 2019 deal for the All-Star big man. The Lakers will select 17th in the June 26-27 draft.
